Aren’t we all aging?
Time flies fast!
I cannot believe that some of my friends who are only a year or two years older than me already had kids.
Friends who are about the same age, are about to prepare for wedding parties!
A friend who never been in a relationship and anti-commitment, finally had her first crush.
A friend who was very popular as a playboy in high school, is now confirmed to be a gay.
Yeah, time flies fast! and surprisingly people can change that fast too!
It feels like only a week ago that I hung out with my junior high clique, went to a club and pretended as if we were college students. Haha! (I know it’s super silly). But now, I’m 22 going to 23. I no longer listen to upbeat music, no longer hang out at night that much. I threw my mini skirts and colorful outfits away, and kept my granny’s cardigan and mesh clutch. Haha! Now I claim myself to be more mature and independent. I’m not a girl anymore, I see myself as a young lady :))
I remember my math teacher said that the “golden age” of a woman is actually at 17. Once women have passed that age, they’ll be much more mature than men, but aging a lot faster than men too. While talking about aging, it makes me thinking about beauty. Yes, we can tell someone’s age by looking at his/her skin, right? Even though there are so many beauty products and beauty innovation such as anti-aging cream or anti-aging surgery for example, there’s actually no way we can hide our age!
Well, actually the pictures below will tell you the reason why I write a post about aging.
French female icon Brigitte Bardot in her “golden age”

and here is Bardot in 2008:

and there’s actually no such way we can fake our age. We just have to accept the fact that we’re only humans, we’re growing and we’re all aging.
now question: are you afraid of getting old??
