How’s your weekend? How’s Java Jazz?

I skip Java Jazz Festival this year :( The reason is because I’m concentrating on my new project. So, most of my saving goes to the project, so I have no money left for jazz this month. Sad, rite?

Anyhow, I am soooo excited for my new project! Clue: it’s something related to fashion design thing. This time I handle most of the things by myself , so it’s like a project that can really fulfill my passion and idealism. Woohoo! Since I’m not a perfect person, I still need a help from my friends to help me with this project. So, I collaborate with my friend who studied textile design at ITB. She’s going to focus more on accessories rather than clothes. But I know she’ll do great. We were friends since in elementary school, and I could really see her artistic talent since she was still young :D

Besides drawing and sketching designs, I am currently learning how to develop fashion business. (it’s actually learning by shopping! Haha!). Since my first year in uni, I’ve been doing internet based business. I sell and buy things, mostly clothes, bags, and shoes. My motto is, if I want to buy one thing, then I have to sell at least one thing too. Therefore my saving will be saved, and I saved a space too in my cupboard. Buy and sell is fun. But I was sort of thinking, why not start to create my own line? It’s gonna be much more fun! Developing and managing our own fashion line is very challenging. In my case, I learn everything from zero like market research for example. In the fashion market itself, there are sellers (our competitors) and consumers (with variety of taste, and buying power). There are millions of online sellers now in facebook, multiply, and other social networks sites. How am I gonna cope with that? We’ll see.. I don’t know yet! Haha! But for the consumers, I target ladies my age and above, fashionable, modern, and they’re people who love simple designs.
